Guy-wires set for III guy-wire level MK-1.5/ODC-3

DESCRIPTION
Multi-element construction stay cable set of MK-1.5 sections for the third level of stay cables. The guy ropes are designed to be installed between the 10th and 11th structural elements.

Contents of the kit:

• 3x flange,
• 18x bolt M8x40 with nut,
• 6x wire rope eyelet on wire rope ø5mm,
• 3x steel wire rope ø5mm, 19m - pressed from one end with eye,
• 9x rope lock ø5mm,
• 3x hook eye 0,75T,
• 3x screwdriver M10 loop-loop.

Joining procedure:

1. the eye is installed between 2 sections of the mast MK-1.5 (between frame elements 10 and 11).
2. Insert the pin through the eye of the mounting hole of the anchor so that the pin is positioned on the pole side. 1.
The pressed side of the wire rope is attached to the wrap-around eyelet (where the wire rope eye is located).
4. The free end of the wire rope (the end without the wire rope eyelet) is inserted through the loop of the screw tensioner.
5. The free end of the screw anchor is anchored through the loop to the foundation (the anchoring element depends on the anchor on the customer´s side).
6. A suitable slack is ѕelected on the wire rope and 3 wire rope hooks are attached and tightened. It should be noted that the first wire rope eye must be pulled "slack" against the wire rope eye, i.e. the wire rope must be of sufficient length throughout and only needs tightening. Failure to ѕelect the correct slack will cause the rope to slip out of the eye, the connection to fail or, in the long term, the rope to wear out. The rope loops should be spaced approximately 30cm apart and the remaining rope cut or coiled as this may be necessary when changing or repositioning mast anchors.
7. To complete the procedure, the remaining slack must be tightened with a screwdriver (approx. 100kg maximum force). Too tight a rope may deform the hinged base of the mast (steel triangle) or damage the threads of the steel hooks/anchors of the foundation.

The design of the assembly has taken intο account the long term corrosion of the cable - the breaking strength of the new assembly is 800kg per cable.
